April 2024 - Lambing!

We've had a great lambing season this year. 115 ewes welcomed just shy of 200 lambs. We have Charollais and Suffolk rams, which cross well with our north country mule ewes to produce quality lambs.

We had 10 cade lambs (orphaned usually because the mum doesn't have enough milk) this year which we all grew attached to!

Very ready for a few lie-ins after what feels like 3 months of 5am wake up calls to look the sheep!

One of the Cade lambs - this one is named Christine after Alex’s grandma
