Our Story
Geoffrey & Margaret Bomford, who started farming in 1954, moved to Hunscote Farm in 1976 with their two daughters, Kaye and Gill, and their son Phil. They soon began selling eggs and potatoes at their farm gate.

Kaye opened the farm shop in 1980 and Phil’s wife Cath took over in 1991 with the help of her sister-in-law Gill. The plant nursery was set up by Cath in the early 2000s and continues to grow every year.

Phil & Cath’s son, Rob, joined in with the farming from a young age and became a partner in the business in 2018 after graduating from university where he studied Agriculture.

Phil and Cath’s daughter, Hannah, moved back to Warwickshire in 2024 with her husband Alex after a decade working in the city to help lead diversification projects at the farm, starting with Hunscote Farm Lodges (opening Spring 2025!).
